Explore Some of My Favorite Resources
Note: Many of these resources are created by people who do not claim to be Christ-Centered or even Christian. While I do not gain from them spiritually, I like their ideas and have gleaned some much needed insight into classroom management and building relationships with my students from them over the years.
Jim Fay and his son, Dr. Charles Fay have some great insights into managing student behavior. They also have some fantastic resources for parents!
Though he has chosen to take a break from speaking to students and faculty, Dr. Scott still has some great resources available. One of my favorites is is book, “You Can Be A Student’s Best Hope.”
Mr. Reynolds has a vast assortment of resources available to help any teacher. He has short informational videos, at least one book, and a weekly podcast entitled, “Real Rap with Reynolds” that he hosts live each Sunday night.
My school system is an advocate of CKH, and the program has some good ideas. Even if you’re not a member of their program, you can access their blog and other information that offer solid ideas and classroom management strategies.
Dr. Whitaker’s primary focus is supporting school administrators, but I really enjoy most of what he has to say! He is an out-of-the-box thinker who is very down-to-earth and practical.
